Crowns – Fixed

CROWNS AND BRIDGE :

A crown is a covering for the tooth like a cap which is used in case the tooth has been broken, lost or heavily filled. Dental crowns improve the structure of the tooth. Things like lost fillings, decay, chipping and cracking of the enamel can all lead to large-scale problems in a tooth’s surface. If the whole surface of the tooth is problematic but the root system is intact, a crown might be the ideal solution.

Bridges are the traditional way of replacing missing teeth. A dental bridge is a false tooth, fused between two crowns to fill in the area left by a missing tooth. The two crowns holding it in place are attached to teeth on each side of the false tooth.

Metal Crowns :

These are made of silver metal alloy and are known for their strength and durability.

Ceramic crowns :

Tooth colored crowns are aesthetically pleasing of all the different types of dental crowns as they closely mimic the look and luster of natural teeth. And for this reason, they often make an excellent choice for restoring front teeth.
